BBBS hosts a variety of events throughout the year and for a variety of BIG reasons: BBBS has yearly fundrasing events, such as the Bowl For Kids’ Sake, and our annual Golf Tournament. Other events include Adirondack Wine & Food Festival, Friendsgiving, and our fun monthly Match Events for our Bigs and their Littles.

Signature Events
Bowl For Kids’ Sake
Bowl for Kids’ Sake has been helping kids in our community for over 37 years. It is our signature event and is held annually in the Fall at King Pin’s Alley in SGF.
Gather some pledges and rally your business or a fun group of friends out to bowl for a few hours while supporting a great cause. Remember it’s not your skill or your score that counts – it’s about having fun while helping kids!

Memorial Golf Tournament
This tournament is a great opportunity to spend a day on the golf course while supporting the youth in our community that need us most.
The golf scramble is held annually at Cronin’s Golf Resort and includes lunch, drinks, prizes, steak dinner and a one of a kind live auction!
Adirondack
Wine & Food Festival
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Southern Adirondacks is their official Festival Beneficiary! We provide volunteers to help make sure the festival runs smoothly.
Friendsgiving
This staple match event happens every November. Where we invite all our matches to come together and have a family style sit down Thanksgiving meal. Our matches help with everything from setting the tables to meal preparation. Friendsgiving is a great way to bring everyone together and enjoy a delicious home cooked meal that everyone played a part in preparing.
